If microwaveable water is your best option...This is a lovely little thing The reason I bought it is because I wanted a decent cup of coffee at work, which is often difficult to come by. I love that you can heat the water in the microwave. THAT is why I bought it I don t have access to a stove, and heating water is heating water, regardless of the method. I m not interested in the K-cups... more expensive. So, with that being said, I was able to make a nice cup of coffee at work. Exactly what I wanted and exactly what I got.
