Doesn t taste like a lead pipe, thank goodnessWhen I was first starting to use french presses, I noticed that the one my roommate used a super fancy version compared to this one made coffee that tasted extremely metallic. Like, pucker your lips, scrunch up your face kind of bad. But my boyfriend had this one, and it didn t have that problem A cheaper price tag was a true benefit in this case. This is really easy to use and stores well in the fridge. As with most french presses I wish it was a little easier to clean quickly, but that s a downside to every french press. If you want easy to clean, go get a Chemex, haha This, however, was a perfect solution for a broke, coffee-loving college student.
