redSkatz: More consistent than my Chemex

I was a big fan of my Chemex 6-cup carafe, but I was having issues with the filters getting clogged and slowing down the water flow. I tried different grinds sizes with my Hario Mini-Slim manual and even shaking the grinds through a mesh strainer to get out the fines, but it was getting difficult to achieve consistent results. It seemed like the way that most of the filter was directly up against flat glass was concentrating the water flow just through the bottom of the filter. I would have to lift up the filter mid-pour to help get it flowing again.
