Description

Creating 1 quart of ice cream, frozen yogurt, sorbet, or frozen drinks at home takes only about 30 minutes with this electric ice-cream maker, and salt and ice are not needed. It has two speeds for creating hard or soft variations of any confection. The machine s freezer bowl goes into a refrigerator s freezer for about 12 hours to freeze the liquid between its walls. The bowl then goes atop the power base, the unit s paddle goes into the bowl, the transparent top is locked in place, and the machine is turned on. Ingredients go into the bowl through an opening in the top as the paddle turns. Chocolate chips, chopped fruit, nuts, and other ingredients can be added toward the end. The bowl is nonstick for easy cleanup. The machine measures 8-1 2 inches in diameter and 11-1 4 inches high. It carries a 90-day warranty against defects. I already owned this ice cream maker, but I needed a new freezer bowl. The freezer bowl that I had just disintegrated. I hadn t used it in a while, and when I finally went to use it again, the freezer bowl looked as if it had been eaten away from the inside out by acid.
