Amazon Customer: Bought this blender primarily for making smoothies and for the vacuum feature. I love it.

I have a couple of the Ninja blenders and a Vitamix that I seldom use at this point in time. My primary purpose for this blender was to make smoothies in quantity that would be good for a couple of days. Previous to buying this blender I was using one of the Ninja blenders that did a great job of incorporating anything I put in it into a smooth drink. This included frozen fruits, fresh veggies and even seeds. This blender pulverized even raspberry and blackberry seeds.
