It took me a while to get used to this, coming from a plastic version. You need to hang around and make the extraction about a 4 to 5 step process hot water through the filter alone to warm the cone and the cup, then hot water for the first wake-up extraction, then several more extractions to fill the cup . At first I hated the inconvenience, but now I m used to it and have figured out how much coffee I need to add. This does make a very nice cup of coffee, but it s more work than what I was expecting.
